Homeward Bound Pet Shelter
In July 2005, Homeward Bound became a division of Macon Resources, Inc. (MRI). It's a great partnership that helps pets and people with disabilities.
The mission of Homeward Bound Pet Shelter is to shelter and rehabilitate relinquished cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies until they can be permanently adopted into loving homes.
We try to maintain a stress-free environment for our cats and dogs while they wait for their new families. Cats are free to roam in their rooms, and dogs have visiting rooms and a fenced outside play area.
All animals are spayed/neutered, kept up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Plus, they’ve been tested for heartworms or feline leukemia/FIV and kept on monthly flea control and heartworm protection.

Tickets are now on sale for the Woofstock TV Raffle To benefit Homeward Bound Pet Shelter. RAFFLE TICKETS: $5 each or 5 for $20.

Only 500 tickets will be sold! Drawing will be held at Woofstock 2012 on Saturday, June 16 at 1:00pm at Macon Resources-2121 Hubbard Avenue, Decatur. Need not be present to win. Get Pampered for Pets

Studio 7 Salon & Day Spa will be hosting a fundraiser for Homeward Bound Pet Shelter. It's an evening of fun and pampering. Tuesday, June 19 from 5:30-8:00pm at Studio 7, 160 E. Main, Suite 201 in downtown Decatur.
Services offered will include eyebrow waxing, mini mani/pedis, full mani/pedis, shampoos/styling, facials, haircuts, body treatments, makeovers, airbrush makeup, eyelash application, glitter tattoos, and sunless spray tans. All services will be at discount prices which benefits Homeward Bound Pet Shelter.
