Adopting
Anyone who wants to adopt a pet must fill out an application. You'll need veterinary and personal references, and we'll conduct an informal interview.
A minimum 24-hour wait period is required. During this time, Homeward Bound will confirm all the information you've given us is correct and meets our adoption criteria.
Our staff will observe your family with the pet to make sure it's a proper match. Once your adoption is approved, your pet will be spayed/neutered before it goes home with you.
You must sign a contract and pay an adoption fee (cash or personal check accepted) at the time of departure.
Watch for us on WAND-TV Newscenter 17 (NBC) on Wednesdays. Some of our furry friends looking for loving homes are usually on between 12:15pm-12:30pm.
